*****READ ENTIRE POSTING HERE, FIRST BEFORE POSTING!!! TIRED OF PEOPLE ARGUING SAME THING DOWN AGAIN AND AGAIN.... OUR POINT IS SIMPLE!!!!*****

I am trying to organize a warrior strike, they nerfed all out awsome shields that were -2 dmg and made them -2 dmg against physical dmg, of which all our armor is bassed off of!!! all dmg reduction, shields, knights armor, absorbsion runes all are just against physical dmg!!!!

lets see how bad this is.... i run -7 dmg vs everything, or i did that is.... now, only vs physical dmg.... my base armor is 80 armor each piece and each piece has + 20 armor vs physical.... nothing offered for elemental resistance....

Any warrior will agree, eles, necros, and what not, doing spikes always are warriors biggest threats....

Rangers have spirits that turn physical dmg into ele dmg... nothen for vice versa....

now, ppl r going to say, -7 dmg isnt that much, ok, u get 5 ppl (eles) hitting u with 20 dmg each... or each doing 13 dmg from reduction that isnt available now, they hit u 5 times each... 500 dmg or 325 dmg, that measly little -7 realy adds up???..... GOOD BYE TANKING!

I recommend
1 - make some dmg reduction vs elemental dmg
2 - they change it out to the way it was
3 - they make a low eng spirit that turns all elemental dmg into physical dmg....
4 - give warriors an option to change out armor at no expense
5 - make absorbsion rune available for all classes

I, we, us, whatever are not asking for a ROLL BACK... I understand kights armor (even though it was out for 13 months untill changed) should have never been global damage reduction... what we are asking is this....

1 - why do we have no armor that reduces elemental dmg?
2 - why would they change absorbtion runes and shields to only negate physical dmg?
3 - why would the absorbsion rune, while only available for warriors, only absorb dmg on the area it is located on, and only physical dmg at that!?
4 - an option for people with knights armor and ascalon armor to exchange it for other armor

Alot of people are saying warriors are most deadly person on battle field... WRONG! the team is the most deadly on battle field, and each member of that team has a job.... warrios can inflict dmg, noone is saying they cant, but so can every other class out there!! THERE IS NO CLASS IN THE GAME THAT CANNOT DEAL DMG, OR EQUAL DMG TO A WARRIOR IF BUILD RIGHT!!! And anyone with a clue knows this!!!! and anyone can with a clue will tell you how easy a warrior has always been to shut down, every class has the power to do it, EVERY CLASS....
examples:
Blind - means we do no dmg! wow, what a concept... (eles and rangers)
Wards - dmg reduction and such (eles)
Pacify - means we stand there and look dumb (monk)
Mesmer - way to many skills to list that all are very effective
Necro - alot of skills also, like mesmer

WE ARE NOT saying that now warriors are useless, we are not saying that we have nothing to do at all in a battle, we are saying that we just got a major kick in the pants!

This is like taking all the wands, offhands, and all the staves and taking the 10% or 20% skills recharge off them all.... wont ruin you skills, or your build, but makes life a whole lot harder! But then again, if it was all of them, that would be equal... this is like taking them all from one class of charicter, like just the monks.

And some of us feel we need it to be made right... I AM NOT SAYING ALL OUR INVESTED MONIES BACK! But, there should be amor against ele dmg, people with knights armor and ascalon armor should beable to exchange it for armor they want now. Absorbsion runes realy need to be adjusted, as well as shields.... There should be a customizer npc who can change ur -2 dmg physical to -2 dmg ele or something.

Not a single person on any forum ever called warrios dmg reduction over powering before this, now suddenly, alot of people feel it was. Or atleast none I could find.

What is most frustrating about this, is alot of ppl whispering me, saying, oh is this why i die so easy now, and such....

* Added a new collector in Snake Dance, just outside Camp Rankor. This collector exchanges the Carapace Shields given out by Hagnon Warblade that were incorrectly modified by the last update. Shield dye color is unaffected by this exchange.
* Fixed a bug in the Assassin Moebius Strike skill. It no longer recharges itself.

I have a W/Me however as a War I can not support this strike at all. I am gonna learn to deal with the new armor fixes. I suggest every other War does too.

He is talking about how shields -damage only works on physical damage instead of all damages.

But yes, this nerf was uncalled for and unloved by all warriors.
Seriously it took them a year to change the damage reduction on shields to physical wtf is anet doing over there?

While they're at it they should just change it so all damage is physical and screw everyone :]

LOL. while im not as bitter as most people are, i do realize that damage reduction is pretty useless in PvP now.... i mean heck! ""Oh Noes! -7 reduce vs other warriors!"" Woo-freakin-hoo. If another warrior is going for another warrior first, he don't belong there in the first place.

Its funny, now warriors have no real defense other then high AL, which in many cases is completely ignored. LOL. I think Anet just did this to shut up all the other whiners about the supposed "overpowered" warrior issue, which wasn't an issue.

Elementalists are not the only characters who deal non physical damage, so yes this update hurt warriors quite a bit.

I totally support a warrior strike. After all, the bad warriors will be on strike, thus won't end up in my PUG's, and the good warriorrs won't be on strike. The good warriors will be able to deal with the changes to their class and will benefit my team. If a warrior can quickly adapt to the situation he will be just as valuable as he was before the update.

uuuum here's an idea: get over it. it happened, it's done with. i seriously doubt that they are going to revert the update. so why don't you guys and girls just keep on playing like you usually would and not strike, it's immature and pointless to go on strike. Besides, you wouldn't get anything out of it except for some mad people and some uncompleted missions.

You obviously obviously didn't hear about the monk strike which ended in Gaile Grey coming in and straightening everything out, ending IWAY and adding new greens for monks. So IMO it all ended up well for monks.. I think strikes will help get the point out to Anet faster..

Its not a warrior nerf btw. Its a Elementalist Buff.

I lost my pet to a bug. And now it looks like they are annoying a whole lot more with this nerf.

I cant help thinking tho, its a nerf. They are untitled to do it. Still kinda seemed pointless to me. /unsigned cos i havent made my mind up.
